The right side is now going to be an onlay fusion zone, so I've got two targets. I've got one the middle of the facet on the right at L5-S1. So I'm from midline arched on the dorsal spinus process and aiming under the rod.
And to the L5 S1 facet, I'm going to drill down obliquely laterally into the facet, knowing that my 30 to 40 degree angle of attack is going lateral to the fecal sac. I will then come to the dorsal laminar complex fluoroscopically. I will look at this L5 ventral dorsal spinous process. I will sweep up and over that laminar surface by feel and by fluoro. I will come low, do the same thing to S1.
